Happy Christmahanakkwanzatime!

Hello again, my fellow passengers on this out-of-control train we call life. It is that time of year again when we are asked to dole out our hard earned coin to buy merchandise not worth half the price tag, to give to our greedy relatives whether they end up liking it or not, to convieniently forget to pay the bills, to spend hours on end at places you just do not want to be, to ration spare change for each bell-ringer in the malls, not to mention stand in endless lines behind clueless people who always seem to find the one item without a price tag. Yes, my joyful minions, it is Christmahanakkwanzatime once again!
What is this? You have never heard of Christmahanakkwanzatime? Why, dear fellows, it is now. This very time of year. And it comes around every year at this time, just after the Feasting of Thanks, a tradition our national founders created to give thanks to their creators for giving to them the sustanance to make it through another winter. It has been known as the Christmas Season for many years, as it has also been known as the Season of Hanakka. Recently, the Feast of Kwanza had been added to this season. The days on the calender between Thanksgiving Thursday Football and New Year's Day Football. So, this time is truly now Christmahanakkwanzatime!
But, for some reason, this year the liberal leftists and the religious rightious have decided this year's season is not for joy, love, and goodwill. No, to these two groups, t'is the season to bitch and moan about every little tradition of the season. To get their own "Holiday Message" out there, in the face of America, to prove that they are right and all others are wrong, regardless. So certain shopping establishments have decided that to be all-inclusive, they put up "Happy Holidays!", to encompass the entirity of the holiday season, no doubt. Well, this does not sit well with the Holier-than-Thou Christian Right, who evidently feel this holiday season is theirs and theirs alone and to Hell with everyone else! I guess they just do not get the whole joy, love, and goodwill thing, eh? Maybe they are still smarting over having to piggy-back their own celebration onto a Pagan one, the Winter Mass. Was not their savior born in September? What has that have to do with December? Better ask the church, or the History Channel.
But let us not forget the looney-Leftists and their whole "Let's take religion out of the whole season" banter. They do not want "Christmas" trees up on public squares, or "Merry Christmas" displayed in their government buildings. They oppose the historical nativity scene being displayed in schools. Hell, some have even come out against kids taking Christmas vacations! Is it their plan to destroy all of the holidays that have any religious flavor at all? They want to celebrate our diversity on one hand, and then try to lump us all under their muddy umbrella on the other. My (God, Allah, Budda, whatever), what the hell is wrong with all you people? You leftists are all dumbasses to think your little minority is going to change anything. Most of your constituants are Christian, by the way. Good way to get votes. And you Rightious had better start accepting the fact that this season is for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, race, or bank-account level. I am sorry, but the never ending bitching and moaning by both of these groups on the evening news is rapidly killing the joy that those of us who DO NOT GIVE A RAT'S ASS ONE WAY OR THE OTHER have this season. Shut the ---- up! All of you! If this is all you have in your lives, to bitch about Wal-Mart's holiday signs, to moan that the courthouse is showing a manger scene, to whine about all the Christmas specials, then I suggest you all pack up and move to Iraq, and take over for those Soldiers who would rather be home for the holiday season with their families, regardless of what it is called. And you Atheists out there had better not have trees up or give your kids presents on the morning of the 25th! That would make you all hypocrites, not that you are not already.
I just want everyone to take a step back, look around at the joy on the children's faces at seeing all the bright lights and holiday colors, and remember your own childhood at this time of year. Kids do not care one bent penny about the religious, the profits, the liberal, the various "true meanings" of the season. They are happy just to be kids during this happy holiday season. Let us all try and be kids this year, okay?
